Sede Vacante usually only happens when a Pope dies. It’s only happened 3 or so times since the Church began that a Pope has stepped down. Sede Vacante means Empty Seat. But you are all smart people so you already know that.
What our roles are as Catholics should now entail is to pray for the cardinals. We need to pray for them that the Holy Spirit comes to them and helps them choose the next person that is right for the Church. This isn’t about if we can get a new Pope in the chair to change things. The Church does not need to change. The world needs to change to conform. The Church is there to teach what Jesus taught, not how to twist the teachings to fit the world.
I want a strong traditionalist elected as Pope. We need another Bulldog of the Faith. Pray the Holy Spirit sends one.
